Hello! My boyfriend and I recently moved into a new house a few months back. Now that the weather is nice and life has slowed down for us, we want to tackle our ugly, overgrown landscaping and ugly lawn. We are zone 8b outside of Olympia, WA. I’m not sure this place was given much upkeep prior to us moving in. Any suggestions on where to start and what plants to add? We’re on a DIY budget so hiring landscapers to overhaul is not an option. Everything looks so overgrown and blob like. Our yard is also covered in moss and just not in the best shape. I’m new to landscaping and gardening, but really want to learn and eventually have a full blown garden. Any help of advice would be appreciated!
