Hello I'm a med student from Morocco. Our medicine program is 6 years and starts fresh out of highschool.

I'm interested in doing residency in USA and I've been looking at usmle steps and preparation.

Now I have an idea how fierce the competition for residency matches is in the us but how can I up my chances to get in? Other than having a high mark on the second step.
