Hey everyone,

I bought a Redragon K688 Pro RGB less than a year ago. A few days ago, the battery completely died and it stopped working in wireless mode. I left it plugged in for hours; the battery indicator briefly showed 1% but then dropped right back to 0% and hasn't gone up since. For now It works perfectly fine in wired mode, though.

I contacted Redragon support, and since they couldn't ship a replacement to my country, they actually issued a full refund and let me keep the board!

I want to try reviving the wireless functionality as a weekend DIY project. I plan to open it up in the next few days to check the internals. I have some basic tools and a multimeter.

I’d love to get some input from the community before diving in:

Diagnosis: Based on that "1% then back to 0%" symptom, does this sound strictly like a completely dead LiPo cell, or is it common for the charge controller on the PCB to fail this way on Redragon boards?

Replacement Specs: If I need to buy a replacement battery, what are the standard dimensions, voltage (assuming 3.7V?), and connector types (JST?) I should look out for?

Disassembly: Are there any hidden screws or fragile ribbon cables I should be careful with when opening the K688 Pro case?

Any advice, diagrams, or similar experiences would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks!
