I think I may have softlocked myself out of Angel Cartel FW and I’m looking for advice from people who’ve been in the same situation.
Right now my raw Angel Cartel standing is around -1.13. With Diplomacy / Criminal Connections etc. it shows as positive, but apparently the militia enlistment checks the raw standing, so I still can’t join them.
The problem is that my Minmatar and Amarr standings are only around 1.0, so I also can’t do the epic arcs to try to repair the Cartel standings that way.
Yesterday I spent hours doing level 1 security missions for an Angel subfaction (Archangels). After 16 missions I finally got the storyline mission, completed it, and my standing moved from around -1.15 to… -1.13.
I did the math and if I keep going at this rate I’d need something like 700-800 missions just to reach 0 standing with Angel Cartel.
On top of that, all of this is in nullsec and honestly the ammo I’m spending costs more than the mission rewards themselves.
Has anyone been stuck in this situation before? What’s the most efficient way to recover Angel Cartel standings from here?
I don’t mind investing some time into it if the process is at least engaging or rewarding somehow, but right now it feels like pure grind with almost no progression.
