Hi! My 11.5 month old baby typically had a 630-715 rise for the most part but lately he has been waking up at like 520ish most days out of the blue. We’ve been very consistent with his first nap and his second nap can vary in time and length because he sometimes fights it despite needing it. Old schedule : 645 up, 10-1130 first nap, 3ish -4second nap . Currently, with the early morning wakes, his first nap is now 930-11, second nap 3-4/415. We wake him from his naps because I’m worried if he sleeps longer in the day it will rob even more over night sleep. Should I let either of his naps last longer? He falls asleep around 830. We have a very consistent bedtime routine and he doesn’t have a problem falling asleep and staying asleep (for the most part) . It’s just these early morning rises are getting difficult. Any advice, thoughts, input would be greatly appreciated!!

My baby is 11.5 months old and I heard that it’s best to cap the first nap because baby will think that’s more overnight sleep? I don’t really get it but then if I let the second nap go longer I worry it will steal from night time sleep so I end up capping both his naps .. the first is always 1.5 hrs long.. the length of the second nap depends on when he falls asleep because I don’t want him to wake up too close to bedtime. The second nap will be anywhere from 20 min to 1.25 hr depending on the time he falls asleep (he fights this one sometimes ) wake windows are typically 3.25/3.5/4 … overnight sleep has been pretty good lately he will fall asleep around 830 and up anywhere from 6-7 (I do wish his rise was more consistently around 7) any advice would be so greatly appreciated!!
