Which country for Master’s in Finance/ Finance and Accounting.
Hello guys
Here are my_qualifications:
10th(89%), 12th(93%) and Bcom Hons Graduate from Delhi University(7.3/10). I am currently working in Big 4 as an Audit Associate in Financial Services Domain(catering to European clients) for the past 2 years. Also have my CFA L1 exam in November this year.
Now I am planning to move abroad for pursuing either Master’s in Finance(1st preference as want to switch something more finance related) or Master’s in Finance and Accounting(backup option if I need to switch back to accounting I will have a qualification). I have shortlisted two countries with the aim of targeting the following universities.
Australia
- University of Melbourne
- University of Sydney
- UNSW
- ANU
-University of Queensland
- Monash University and Macquarie University(Backup)UK
- Imperial College London
- University of Nottingham
-University of Edinburgh
-University of Warwick
- University of Glasgow(Backup)
I wanted to ask first of all which program is suitable for me based on my profile and which country should I keep as my first priority. Keeping in mind my aim is to get a good full time job in my preferred domain right after completing my studies and settle there.
Also how is the current job market for finance professionals in both the countries and their respective states which I am targeting.
Lastly I need recommendations for a good study abroad consultancy which will help me the applications like reviewing my SOP’s, guiding what documents to collect and help in applying for both universities and visas. Currently have spoken to Unischolars and found them good. Also are consultancy who ask for fees from students good as they have no commissions tied to any university and are less biased as compared to something like IDP which only suggests uni’s with which they have commissions tied up.
Would request advice from anyone currently studying this program in any of the 2 countries or are there any additional countries which I should target. Also if I am wrong about something, please do correct me.
Thank you!
