Hey everyone, I know that the JBL Authentics 500 couldn't be paired in stereo at launch - is this still true, or has JBL updated the app to allow this? Seems such a missed oportunity!

Hey everyone, I switched from Spotify to Tidal this week, and like I said in anothe post, I'm enjoying the experience overall. I just have one other minor gripe - volume control in iOS.
iOS is pretty terrible in this regard, in the sense that there is no way for the user to fine tune which volume is being controlled - it's context dependent. So when I'm on Spotify and I press volume up, most of the time a volume slider from the Spotify App itself shows up, and then with it I can control the volume of my device that's using spotify connect.
With Tidal, that doesn't happen, and sometimes I raise the volume of the device, but sometimes I raise the volume of the iPhone itself. I have to keep moving around the app, clicking the volume button, until somehow it starts working.
Is there a better way to do that? It would be great to have a dedicated app or widget to control Tidal Connect volume.
Hey everyone, I switched from Spotify to Tidal this week. I'm enjoying the app for the most part, except one annoyance I'm having: on my iPhone in iOS 26, when using Tidal Connect with my devices, the "Now Playing" widget ramdonly appears or disappears. So when I want to quickly skip a track, I have to tap the iphone, unlock it, find and open the Tidal app, and then tap on the "Next" button.
Whereas with Spotify I tap the iPhone, which displays the Now Playing widget in the lock screen, and then I just tap "next".
Is there something I can do to fix that? Or this is something within the app itself that needs to be fixed?
Hey everyone! So I've recently subscribed to Tidal just out of curiosity, to test the Dolby Atmos feature on my JBL Authentics 500. I was sure that I wouldn't notice anything with such a standard equipment, but even my girlfriend, when listening blindly (I didn't tell her it was two different streaming services), noticed the difference in audio between Tidal and Spotify.
So now I want to test if I can notice a difference between listening Spotify with my Airpods Pro 2, and listening Tidal with a wired headphone + simple DAC on my iPhone 17 pro.
For the headphone, what would you suggest? I was thinking of something along the lines of $200, maybe up to $300.
And for the DAC, at least at first, I was thinking of nothing fancy, maybe even the standard Apple headphone dongle. Would that be good enought? If not, what would you suggest, as a cheap DAC?
Hi there! I'm looking for two, maybe up to three bluetooth or wifi speakers that I want to use in my patio for outdoor listening. I want to pair them in mono, so that each speaker will output the exact same music.
I'd rather buy wifi speakers, but they can be quite a bit more expensive than regular bluetooth speakers, so bluetooth is fine too.
For comparison, I have an old Bose Revolve Plus that I find quite good. I would buy another one, but I can't find them for sale in my area.
I was thinking of something like the Anker Soundcore speakers, which models are comparable (or better) than the Bose Revolve Plus?
Or any recommendations around the same price of a comparable Anker Soundcore speakers.
Thanks!!
