Did you guys order your ABBLS and VB MAPP and any other materials? I made a “BCBA/RBT/ABA binder”. All the materials were free from TPT or ABA sites.
Did you feel like you used these a great bit or were you doing more RBT direct work?
Any staples I should have to be prepared? I know every kiddo is different and I’ll be under BCBA guidance… I just want to really succeed and make a great impact. Maybe I’m overthinking it haha.
I just finished my certificate (pathway 2) at Umass.
I will have to recomplete a program to follow 2027 guidelines since I won’t accumulate the required hours in time due to the monthly max for 2026.
Question: What programs are affordable? Maybe Umass is the most affordable? I pay tuition OOP. I paid $900/term and I’m wondering is that as good as it gets?

I just started accruing hours this month (I know 🫣).
With the change BACB is making for requirements, I wont be able to apply and sit for the exam until after 1/1/27 because you can only max 130 restricted and unrestricted hours.
My question: Do I need to redo my education?
Also what will happen to my PLBA I just earned?
I REALLY want this, so I’d redo it. I just don’t want to wait until I apply to do that. Instead be proactive. I also don’t want to have to redo something I don’t necessarily have to as I do pay OOP for tuition.
Any guidance is so appreciated.
I did reach out to the board but I know that takes time for a response. Anyone else in a similar boat?

If so, does this mean I’d have to start over from scratch in a new program?
