Hi guys. I’m currently a new grad MLT and I am still doing clinical rotations specifically blood bank and I don’t finish until 2 weeks later. I was just wondering if anybody has started studying for the ASCP if you are new grad, or if you are a MLT/MLS how long did it take you to study for the ASCP and what resources or videos/books/websites did you use to help you study? Hi all. I need advice. I’m about to be a new grad and have finished clinical rotations and graduating from my online program (mlt) this week. Is it normal to be anxious/nervous about not finding employment as soon as you graduate? I’ve never had any clinical experience other than in person labs and rotations. I’m currently working at a grocery store 3-4 days a week and am looking for a lab assistant/tech job in the meantime while I prep to take the ascp. Anyone else on the same boat and how did you handle it? I feel like I’m already behind and should’ve thought about this sooner.
