Today its the v1.1.0 update of ResistGate. A chrome extension I built because every other blocker I tried just... let me around it in 5 seconds.
Cold Turkey locks you out completely (I'd just use my phone). Freedom costs $3.33/month. I wanted something in between: friction, not a wall.
What ResistGate does:
🔒 Blocks sites you add to your list.
⌨️ To get in, you have to type 5 customs challenges phrases, long enough to break the impulse, short enough that you can still access if you genuinely need it
⏱️ Timed unlocks: grant yourself access for X minutes, then it locks again automatically
📅 Schedule-based blocking: set it to only block during work hours
📊 Focus analytics: see how often you're hitting the gate and when
