PF Deduction option ?

Hey,

Will be joining deloitte USI soon in pune. Was curious to know whether there is an option to have minimum PF deduction (1800 per month) instead of the 12% of basic?

Called HR but no response lol

Hi all,

TL:DR: Deloitte is offering a lot more money, but unsure whether the work life balance merits it.

I received an offer for consultant in the SCNO team at Deloitte USI.
Fixed: 19, Variable: 0-10%, joining:2

My current company has offered to increase my CTC from 12.5 fixed to 15.5 fixed with 1.5 Variable.

Both roles have similar hybrid structure, current is in Mumbai, whereas Deloitte is in Pune. However my current role has more client side exposure where I have had opportunities to independently lead account pursuits. Moreover, its a European team, with a 35 hour work week and in my experience so far its only been a few times where I have had to stretch beyond that. A very chill and supporting team, with great culture and fit overall.

I am obviously tempted by money and deloitte would require learning advanced analytical methods which would surely help going forward. But i read so much about the work life balance at deloitte and the constant culture of pushing yourself to max to avoid being put on PIPs. I am not sure if the money bump is worth the hassle presented.

Purely looking from an hourly perspective, I would earn more per hour in my current, assuming a 50 hour work week.

What do you suggest?
