Hi, so I'm new to all this, well, new to talking about it online. A couple of months ago, I was hosting a party, and I was always inclined to things that seemed unnatural, so to speak.
Well, there was a little girl there, probably 8 or 9, and she was very weird—like, cool weird. She just seemed whimsical and kooky. She reminded me a lot of Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter.
Something kept drawing me to speak to her, and she came up to me and said I did a good job, and I just outright called her weird. Quickly, I added, "good weird," and she laughed and said she gets that a lot. She had pointy ears and sparkly hair. Her skin was bright but also pale, and she looked like a fairy to me—like I could see it clear as day. So I jokingly said, "You look like a fairy, lol." Her eyes got big, and she grabbed me and asked how I knew, and I just stared at her. Well, this little girl began to tell me that she and her whole family are powerful fairies, and her mom could grant your dreams, but because I was kind, she would grant me a year of prosperity and grace.
Well, at every party I hosted after that, I began racking in huge tips. I got a promotion, and everything seemed too good to be true. My bank account had never seen more prosperity, and life had never seemed so bright. Then life didn't. I got assaulted, put into the ICU, lost my promotion, and blah blah.
She said she needed more practice but this is my first ever encounter and idk what to take from it. Anyone else have an encounter like this or any advice with this. I know with magic and all you have to give back what you take. I'm lost because I didn't ask for this it was given to me. Any ideas to clear my confusion on this.
