Hi guys. I am from a small country in Europe Macedonia. I am in a big dilemma right now. I dropped out of IT college i wasted 3 years and i found out that that wasn't for me. The exams become harder and harder and i felt year. So i needed to take a break. I have a high school diploma for Dental Technician i have worked before at some labs when i was going to school but that wasn't much. Now as i dropped out i am considering to find a job or go and learn the dent technician job. But i am somehow scared. In Macedonia were i am from the wages for this job are small like 500-700 euros. And i am type of guy that wants a business and not be an employee for the whole life. With that amount of wage and the amount of what the machines and scanners cost to open a lab are scary.
So i want to ask you is becoming or "going back" to Dental Tech for me worth it?
Do you think i can learn fast and open my lab with that wage?
Is it even worth it opening my own lab because i am seeing a lot of Dentist in my town are opening in-house labs.
