Here at TADL we’re pleased to announce our brand new off-season event:
THE TADL MONOTYPE TOURNEY!
As the name implies, participants will only be able to use pokemon that share a select type. The format will be National Dex Ubers, but as to make more pokemon usable we introduce:
THE RANK SYSTEM
Powerful pokemon will be given ranks, and players will only be able to use a limited number of those (think restricteds in VGC or as the “ace” of your team)
Players can have either:
2 A RANKS
Strong OU and weak Ubers pokemon, like Sneasler, Victini and Zapdos
OR
1 S RANK
The strongest of strong Ubers, such as box art pokemon(zekrom, mewtwo, etc.)
As the format is National Dex, we will be allowing teams to use two of the three generational gimmicks:
MEGA EVOLUTION(ZA Megas in Champions are legal)
Z MOVES
TERASTALIZATION
(One pokemon can tera out of their current shared type)
ALSO, those who reach top 14 will have a guaranteed spot at our TADL GYM LEAGUE! This is the only way to become a Gym Leader / Elite Four Member, so don’t miss out!
