This is a screenshot of a Facebook ad that showed up in my feed today. I find this deeply frustrating and am assuming I'm not alone.

Vitamin D synthesis in the body requires exposure to UVB wavelengths. This ad skirts making direct claims about their product and vitamin D, saying only that theirs is a way to "avoid" UV exposure, but implies that this is a product that will help vitamin D without sun damage.

That's utter malarkey... but it's malarkey that less knowledgeable people might buy.

If there are so many benefits to sauna, why advertise your product by making s**t up?
