Anyone here working in the US on H1B in SaaS Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Partnerships, or BD roles?
Curious how your experience has been long term. Most H1B discussions seem heavily focused on engineering, data, or traditional tech roles, so I wanted to hear from people in more business-facing SaaS positions.
A few things I’m wondering about:
How stable have these roles been for you on H1B?
Do companies generally sponsor and transfer visas easily for sales/CSM/AM/BD roles?
How do layoffs/job searches compare versus technical roles?
Have you been able to grow compensation and career trajectory long term?
Any regrets staying in these functions vs pivoting to something more technical?
Would especially love to hear from people who’ve been in these roles 5+ years and built a stable path in the US.
