Moc toes and coffee beans. I ended up getting a milk shake instead because coffee at 6 pm isn’t my idea of a fun time. Especially with a 12 hour shift tomorrow. The coffee here is good though.
I posted a few hours ago about my indecisiveness on my next W&C leather. I hate to say it, though I already have an order placed for carrot, I might just order Mojave. The Patina Project app has been doing it some crazy justice. A close 2nd is definitely cobalt. I might just have to order a 2nd boot. I dug the DS raspberry from the initial batch photos but now I’m uncertain whether I could pull it off. Here’s some photos of my “reddest” leather to convince me to muster up the courage to purchase Raspberry.
I need help deciding on my next W&C leather. I already have carrot on order but right now I am somewhere between tobacco, Mojave, and Raspberry. DS Natural and Buck brown are safe, so I needn’t worry about ordering them anytime soon. This boot might be a packer or 11067/thurman55 LTT if that helps in any way.
64 Brown DS isn’t as brown as I thought it would be.
That’s what I first thought when this pair first arrived. The leather was said to be a heritage take on the 64 brown work leather. Its appearance has definitely changed since its release. The color drift on this leather has been insane but I’m honestly glad it wasn’t as brown as the original color. I wanted to order a red leather at the time of placing this order way back when, so I guess it worked out in the end. I hope the color doesn’t shift away from this reddish-brown. Also the T55 is stupidly comfortable combined with the padded gusset. BuilderProHD for the win!
I’m holding out, I am holding out for that admiral green to finally go live. I thought the leather looked great but if it comes out more waxy than before, I wouldn’t mind. I just really want another green boot.
It’s either the green admiral or DS Raspberry. But I really am holding out for the admiral.
Brown Cxl moc toes on the 55 last. When I was first getting into Nicks I was not a fan of their moc toes. I thought they were weird and unpleasant looking. After a month of owning these moc toes they are the one boot I have consistently reached for when going out. I have been converted, I see that I was wrong to have hated on moc toes. Please forgive me.
