worried that SIM UOL is fake.. or im stupid
Im an international student choosing between SIM UOL IR or USYD in Australia for IR. The main issue is what uni i should choose price wise?? The website says the tuition fee for SIM UOL is only SGD15k per year?? Im not saying its cheap but like compared to USYD which is SGD 38k per year.... its way less. It rlly doesnt feel real.
If i went to USYD its gonna be super expensive and i have to work and both my parents think i should already commit to SIM UOL. But im worried abt what people say about SIM UOL, like the exams are hard to get As, the culture is not fun, UOL is a bad institution and doesn't rlly help etc etc. I want some input from people who already go on like
- Is SIM UOL even a good degree?? Like do i get my degree from university of london or do i get it from SIM what does it say on the paper
- How bad is the job market? Will i have to go back home right after uni bc all the good employment went to like nus smu or ntu?
Edit: i realised after i hit post the 3rd bullet disappeared. Are there any hidden fees at sim?? The cost seems way lower than i thought it would be but thats just the tuition fee are there extra costs that they arent really clear about like campus fees and such? I heard theres an exam fee which is kinda crazy (?) so how much does SIM max cost per year?
