Live in the US. I am 37 yo male, married, and have a 1yo child. My wife (35) is in school working on her PhD and she will be finished within the next two years. I am in a weird spot in life and feel like there is nothing to look forward to right now. I am just in the routine and life is passing me by. I would like to change up the monotony of life and do some family traveling. Thinking three trips over the next 12 months, Hawaii (Cost $3,000), Italy (Cost $2,000 staying with family), and Japan ($5,000). Are we crazy for thinking of doing this? When is a decent time to cut back on spending and enjoy life? Financial breakdown is below.

Income; ~150k before bonuses (Me 118k, wife 32k).

Mortgage with HOA: $2,900 a month (~24% of gross income)

HYSA ~39k

Brokerage account ~112k

IRA ~115k

401k ~25k (4% with 4% match) worked here about 4 years so far.

CC Debt: ~7K at 0% APR until July 2027.

Student Loans: 60K (Currently Deferred) 20k unsubsidized and 40k subsidized.
