I’m a noob, can someone help me?

This is Rosemary, Cilantro and Lemon balm I just moved into a bigger pot. I moved them outside about a week ago after germinating indoors, I water them daily but I really am having a hard time knowing if I’m over/underwatering them. I was bottom feeding them before, everything I’m seeing says to water them when the top inch of soil is dry but I swear it’s almost always dry except for the first 30 minutes of me watering it. Can anyone give me any advice based off of the pictures? It’s about 85 degrees over the past week where I live.

These were blooming a few days ago but look like they’re dying?

This is in a house I’ve lived in for about 4 months, just a few days ago they looked so healthy and bright. It’s been pretty sunny the last few days, I’m wondering if I need to start watering them daily to keep up through the summer. I’m a noob, anything helps.

I tried to make homemade rose syrup using water, sugar and some fresh roses in my yard. I boiled the sugar and water and then put it at medium heat with about a cup of fresh rose petals for 5 minutes. It turned to a green color and tastes kind of bitter with very little rose taste, but the roses definitely have a strong aroma to them.

Everywhere I’m reading online is saying to do different things, cold water, dried roses, longer boil, let it simmer etc. I don’t care if it’s not super strong, I just want to use it in my coffees but want to keep it as simple as possible and not buy extra rose flavoring. Any advice?
