May long banff area
Family member visiting from Quebec and wants to check out banff area for a few days. I see there is a lot of stuff closed, I know its going to be awful weather this weekend. So im going to spend a few days with them and then leave them to explore on thier own.. probably monday.
So we are coming up through nordegg on Saturday. We will stop for some short hikes around Crescent falls - stop see abraham lake - and camping at two o clock creek.
Sunday we were looking at glacier lake trail. - from what I read it seems safe. I see there is a camp up there.. so if they wanted to stay up there is it possible to make it back to lake louise or banff by foot trails?
I feel like it might be better to take them to kananaskis area might be a little better for hikes and exploring this early in the season? Then deep in banff..
Is there Safer summit suggestions in that area? Im sure just exploring the valleys and the lower areas is fine too.
