Hi guys. I'm preparing my work rn at NVCC for transfer to UVA next year, I'm currently planning to do GAA but if i can't finish the curriculum on time then ima try competitive. My GPA currently sitting at 3.9, all A classes, probly i could keep it around 3.8-3.9 next year, I'm on presidential/dean list several times. But i barely have any extra curriculum/ activities. Im pretty confident on gaining points from my essay as im the first-generation college student, immigrant background, etc. What's the chance of me getting accepted ? (In the last year, i probly will try to do some activities my clubs and stuffs). Ik It's admission season so i hope someone have similar case like mine can give me some advice. Ty

Like the title, idk if more classes will be added over the summer as I'm picking math class for fall but there's barely any option fit with my other classes.
Hi guys, I'm currently a college student in Fairfax, I'm planning to transfer to UVA in fall 27. I'm quite a new immigrant so I'm not financially well to afford to move to another whole new place other than Fairfax area. That's why I've planned to apply for AccessUVA program as my family income currently is eligible for that, and i wonder how it would work with federal pell grant from fafsa. As I checked on the school website, it looks like pell grant would be applied first to cover the tuition then the school would cover the gap under AccessUVA, that seems like i would get no refund at all, and that's kinda a big financial hole for me. I'm not really sure how they actually work out so i hope someone on both programs could help me clarify this, thank you.
