My mother-in-law has late stage alzheimer's and is starting to have incontinence. I am at a loss on where to start with mattress protection. I want to put something on the bed that is effect, comfortable, and not obvious. I am not sure if it would be best to get a whole mattress zipped up situation and then put an nice mattress topper over it? But then I think she will be too hot since there is no way for her body heat to escape out the bottom. Or do I do that and put a like a Peapod mat over all of that the help with body sweat to keep her comfortable? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
