I live in an apartment with pretty good sound insulation (rare, I know). Recently, the tenant downstairs has a little dog that barks ALL day long. I’m a little suspicious that the dog doesn’t live there full time as it barks 1-3 days a week, mostly on Monday‘s and Friday’s. But that could be due to something else as well.
We’re also expecting a baby in the next month or so and while I hardly expect everyone to stay quiet because of my needs, I’m a little bit nervous that from 8 AM - 5 PM this dog is going to be barking it‘s head off when I need to sleep. It’s absolutely constant during the day.
I left a polite note on the door a few days ago, “Not sure if you’re aware but your dog is barking all day.”
I’m hesitant to report it to management but my husband and I also both work from home and it’s driving us crazy.
