Lawrence, KS: I'm wanting to rent but the economy (and my friends) say otherwise.
So I make $2,997 in net pay after taxes. The place I'm looking at is 1,300 a month, has a flat utility fee of $230, and an internet fee (non negotiable) of $50. After my insurance and everything else, it would leave me with $1,200 to live with. Am I high, or is this fairly reasonable? My work is a bike ride away and I'm incredibly frugal as is. Please give me your advice!
