FBT Parking
I’m here on a working holiday and on a short term accounting contract, assisting with the FBT filing. I haven’t been involved in FBT returns before (P11d) is similar in the UK but not the same.
I have received the parking report from our parking provider, stating the employees entry and exit times.
After finishing the workings my supervisor (who has been in this role 7 years or so) asked me to exclude employees with a certain job title as their role involves visiting external sites and clients. I can’t find anything regarding an exemption for job types and they have satisfied the criteria of parking over 4 hours by the office. Should they be excluded?
I did query this but they doubled down on it. If it isn’t correct, what would you next steps be?
