This happened right outside the gates of NIET. The administration has a ridiculous rule where if you are even 1 or 2 minutes late, they make you stand outside in the scorching heat for 1 lecture as "punishment."

As if that isn't bad enough, look at where they forced us to wait. We were kept directly under an active construction site with makeshift scaffolding and workers right above us. While we were waiting today, a piece of debris fell from the top and hit my friend hard on the shoulder. You can see him in pain at the end of the video.

How can an institute be this reckless with student safety? Punishing students for being a minute late is one thing, but forcing them to stand in a hazardous construction zone is completely unacceptable. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? What action can we take against the administration for this negligence?
