I wear cream instead of white, which is harder to find, so I've tried tea dyeing. I remember getting good results in the past but can't recall what brand of tea I used. I recently used Lipton black tea and the effect was a bit too orange on one shirt and almost pale pink on another. Is there a tea people prefer for dyeing whites to cream, or any tips to be aware of? I'm usually working with cotton but sometimes a cotton/poly, rayon, or rayon/poly.
