PK and Dorit and the "What about Him" comment$
So the other sub is back at it and spiraling over the recent release of PK and Dorit's financial records. They are, once again, grasping at straws: It is PK and Kyle's doing, and Dorit is the victim.
Here's the thing: we already knew PK was being financially irresponsible. Calling out Dorit's spending as being severely irresponsible DOES NOT MEAN I am sympathetic towards PK. I know he's not father of the year. We all know this. Of course the kids are his responsibility as well. All of their financial decisions from both of them should have been in the best interest of their children, always and forever.
There is what should be, and then there is reality.
I think many of us agree on this:
It's about the children, it's not about who is at the most fault.
The moment she admitted she didn't know what their finances were really like, and they were clearly in financial trouble, the pressure all went to her. She is the only other option those kids have, yet she continued to spend like they were sitting on a huge nest egg.
She knew they didn't have any savings. Yet she continued on.
Let's be real. A million is a lot of money. You know what Gina did? She eventually got a townhouse. She put her family first. She made investments into her future and guess what? She's still a housewife. She didn't get kicked off the show for that.
It may not be fair, but you do it anyway.
She picked him, she decided to have kids with him. She knew his history. So she didn't know at first, I will give her that.
But then she did know. That's when you MUST become the better parent, whether you like it or not. You prepare for the worst case scenario, and you go through the courts.
Yet she continued to $$$ on non-necessity items. Not just a little, but a LOT.
That's the moment where all doubt was removed. She may not have expected to be the bread winner, but again...the kids....
If she doesn't start therapy for her shopping addiction, or at the very least start admitting it to herself that she messed up, what will happen next? What will it take?
