I am unsure of hardware/software limitations, but would it be possible to run a consistent world? Running a server which has all levels and entities loaded allowing players in the session to quick hop through the loaded levels would be awesome and allow independant exploration as well as splitting up tasks through the game.

I haven't played since before 1.0 release and have not kept up with dev diaries so this may already have been touched on.
