Hi everyone,

I’m 23M and recently graduated from a BLACKI IIM.

I’ve started my career in consulting at a Big 4 firm, but I’m increasingly interested in pivoting toward strategy & ops / program management roles, ideally in tech.

My long-term goal is to land a Program Manager role at a FAANG company within the next 3–5 years.

I understand this won’t be an easy jump, , so I’m trying to think about the most realistic path.

What would you recommend I focus on over the next few years to make myself a strong candidate?

A few specific things I’m trying to figure out:

Which roles should I target first after consulting?

Is strategy & ops the best stepping stone, or should I aim for a different role?

What skills or experience matter most for FAANG program manager hiring?
