Currently Contracts Specialist—career pivot advice?

Hi, I am looking to pivot towards an environmental career and would love some advice or suggestions on where to start. Looking at masters or certificates for areas like forestry, sustainability, compliance etc, some titles that are coming up in my research are for conservation compliance specialist, natural resources program coordinator etc. but I’m not sure how realistic any of them are or what I need to do to get there.

I graduated with a law degree recently, and am currently a senior contracts specialist at a government tech company, so I’m still early in my career for better or worse. Many of my contracts involve negotiations with DOI /fish and wildlife services for environmental- related tech products/programs/services.

Trying to figure out what would be best pivot with my skill sets and experience, or what degrees or certificate would be most helpful.

My ideal would be a mix of office and on-site work but I am open to whatever, I’d love to be more hands- on.

Any advice would be appreciated!
