Can anyone help me identify the white spots on the tail fin of our fancy goldfish? We also see it on a small Danio in the same tank. If someone knows what this is, please share any advice on treatment. Thanks!
More details:
- New first-time fish owner
- 40 gallon
- 2 months old and seems fully cycled
- 1 sponge filter and a regular filter
- 30% - 40% water changes every 5-7 days
- Maintained at 74-75 degrees with heater
- Tank also contains 3 glow tetras, 6 danios, and one mystery snail (who has been unusually immobile for the last two days, but not dead)
- Light is on no more than 6 hours per day
