23F, no relevant medication, history of joint pain!
Hi everyone, I was hoping for some advice.
I recently noticed a hard, painless lump just below my knee (on what I believe is the tibial tubercle lol) and wondered if it's something I need to be concerned about!
It feels directly on the bone, as the area of the lump mirrors my joint on the other leg, just more prominent.
I don't recall how but I have clearly injured the knee area as I do have a couple reddish scars, so thought maybe it's from that? I also have a history of joint pain, especially in my legs, but I have more or less grown out of it (besides the odd flare up that coincides with my period weirdly!)
It doesn't cause me any trouble and doesn't appear to have grown, but hard painless lump immediately makes me think of the worst!
Any advice would be appreciated - is it worth going to the GP? I have a bit of a history of health anxiety so don't want to waste anyone's time if it's just from hitting my knee haha!
Thanks everyone 😊
