[Fo4] [XBSX] Looking For Some Help With Refining My Load Order, Haven’t Tested It Yet

By Refining I Mean Checking To Make Sure No Mod Will Cause It To Crash, And Suggesting Removing or Adding Mods. I like the idea of Darker Nights but I don’t want to put too much strain on the guy. I probably won’t have more than 3 games downloaded, but on 1 TB before I get an external SSD or something.

I got this load order from searching the Internet; I have no skills or knowledge personally on what’s at the top and what’s on the bottom, so I could REALLY use some help here.

PLEASE NOTE: I’m unable to create a numbered list or a bulleted one, so I’m hoping the individual mods should be obvious. There should be 43 items in total.

[Fo4][XBsX] Having Trouble Finding the Plans for the Rolling Metal Garage Door

Okay, so, I use the two Fallout Wikis: the Fandom one, and the Independent Fallout Wiki one (of the two I prefer the second). But neither one actually provides any information or plans. The materials that go into the construction, the power for moving it, the repair costs, things like that. Hell, only the fandom one even mentions it. Does anyone know if there’s a better place to look all that and maybe more up?

[Fo4] [XBSX] Can You Explain To Me The Reasoning Behind Darkest Nights?

First off, at least on Xbox, there is a full page plus to cover the basic game, the DLC’s, and the various patches to make sure they all worked nicely together. Second off, once Darkest Night is in play almost everybody loads up a Pip-Boy Flashlight and goggles or Power Armor helmets that give Night Vision, Thermal Vision, and that Targeting Mode that basically colors in specific Targets to better pinpoint them. So you add on to your load order for a feature you negate immediately. Am I missing something?

I’ve considered adding Darker Nights but it’s never made sense to me. The nights and some buildings get darker which then leads to me getting eyewear or such that not only negates the creepiness but also adds other features like Thermal Vision and brightened Targeting.

[Fo4] [XBSX] Are there any Tools, YT Videos, or More Complete Texts Than the Midnight Ride for Creating at Least a Baseline Load Order for Mods Off A Creations List?

Basically what the title says. I’m not giving the Creation list since I don’t have the faintest clue (just yet) of a rough draft for the Creations / Mods I’ve chosen, and I believe the subreddit’s rules are firmly against lists without even a hint of a load order. Hell, I won’t have the console until the end of the month (paychecks are a joke). If it’s allowed I’d love to have a Reddit link from after the Anniversary update but only if.

[XSX] Any Good Settlements That Allow For Nominal Reconstruction?

In Sanctuary Hills, I’m going to be building an Industrial Water Farm of 4+ that will be permanent, as well as a Gunner Cage Farm of maybe 36 “units.” The Gunner Killing Alley is NOT going to be permanent, I might use it for as many as 14 iterations. After that I’ll be using Scrapper rank 1 or 2 to break it down for something else. But in that time I’ll be having crops, generators, structures for beds, maybe troughs for Brahmin, and definitely 360 degree Turrets. Is there a Settlement that could work as a blueprint for such, or do people think it’s doable? I should mention this will all be Survival.

So, one source says it’s 45 or 70lbs, another 120 lbs, but when I added it up on the most reliable Wiki I could find it came to 145. I was also reading somewhere that it got a buff to make it comparable to more recent backpacks. I did a search for a relatively new video on YT but it was 3 and a half minutes long and didn’t even touch on the weight.

I’m getting an Xbox series X plus a slew of other things near the end of the month, otherwise I wouldn’t be asking you all. Right now I’m frenetically building mod lists, fine tuning my character build, and charting a course through the Commonwealth. All as a way to fake gaming Fallout 4.

Created by InvokerGray for all platforms and last updated on January 26, 2026 it seems to have the same stats as the Brotherhood of Steel T60 Pistol. But in addition it adds 3 Star Legendary Crafting and a limited Painting slot as well: Rust, Chrome, Metal, Brushed, and Standard. Lastly, you start out with it on install and it’s sold by a few traders as well, maybe 6 in the Commonwealth (or maybe they just sell mods).

Now I prefer getting an early game weapon from a Mod, that doesn’t require I trigger cells with Power Armor early. But I’d still prefer everybody’s input since I’m not above considering I’m being a screwball.

I’ve got everything else but I just cant’t find the Enclave Armor Skins or the Enclave Weapon Skins. Have they been deprecated or simply removed. I certainly can’t find them on Bethesda.net. Does that mean UFO4 just won’t work? My soul isn’t shattered by this but it’s mystifying that a mod on the site would require 2 non-existent mods.

Sorry I’m not able to answer this myself right now, I’m waiting on my Xbox series X; basically doing exhaustive prep work to avoid cleaning my room.

I’ve done a search on the Fandom Fallout 4 Wiki, the Independent Fallout 4 Wiki, and a good old Google search. But I’m getting conflicting answers. In one spot it says that after every adjustment made to the base bag I can gain an extra 120 lb Carry Weight. In another (I think on the Fandom Wiki) it says Survival limits the extra bonus to +45 lb’s, so I’m assuming + 70 lb’s in total.

For those that have preferably played with this mod in late 2025 or later, can you clarify how it works, specifically on Survival? And if you can link a picture or video, or even just give search terms to find it (I don’t want to get anyone in trouble with the Mods) that would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

So, I’m on Xbox series X and will be playing for the first time since the 2016, and only for 2 months then. In advance this may seem like a low effort post but at least part of why I’m asking is because I’m not sure these requests will fit in the subreddit, you know?

I’ve nailed down my S.P.E.C.I.A.L Stats and my Perks out to 106th level, though I still want to juggle the ones after 60 around. This will be a lightly modded Playthrough, less than 30 mods depending on if you count Paint Jobs in bundles.

I’ve already done at least if not more than a fair bit of research into building the Water Purifier Farm first, followed by the Gunner Killing Gallery. But even with my reading and YouTube scrolling, I’m still very anxious I’m missing out on something or several something’s. So I’m hoping the community here can offer some much needed advice to fill the gaps when my essay is done(it won’t be that bad but I’m in pain now and worried about keeping things concise).

Some small basics: I plan on getting to work immediately after leaving 111 and arriving in Sanctuary Hills. Firstly, for either the water farm, the gunners, or just plain taking care of myself, do I *need* Settlers, with just these two objectives? If I need Settlers, nothing will bring me to Save Scum that Root Cellar for 2 freaking Crystal. I’d rather buy a shipment off Trashcan Carla (the Alien actress!!) or find them via wasteland roaming. I will not be exploring anywhere that locks the leveled PA, nor into areas where it feels like a Fat Man is required. But open season beyond that I think. Actually I may go up to USAF Satellite Station Olivia since all the loot there could help if I get an unexpectedly difficult encounter with the gunners. Everything’s going to get built in Sanctuary, I have zero interest in activating Abernathy Farms or such and having to rush off.

So, initially grabbing a hugely popular patch from the community seemed like a no brainer but now I’m leaning heavily into the, “No thank you,” category.  While I really like all the fixes, I’m not a fan of maybe half or more of the required mods, and 2 of them I can’t even find on the Bethesda site (Enclave Weapon / Armor Skins).  in addition there’s mention of a large number of rebalancing adjustments and I generally prefer to stick with the designers there; though if I approved of the majority of changes in a compare / contrast and saw commentary on why the changes were made that could change my opinion.

TL;DR ?  I’m passing on the Patch / Overhaul.  However, that means I’m going to miss out on the Fixes, and on a Survival run.  SO, for experienced players, is it simply really advisable to add in a mod that allows me to save whenever, to protect myself against things like Crashes and Broken Quests?  Oh, and let me put down my current Mod list (not yet in Load Order, and possibly still to be added to, though I like it). If you have suggestions on what might work best for me as a Saving Under Survival Mod, and just any Mods in general I would super appreciate it. I’m not starting my run tomorrow or next week, but two weeks from now is a possibility.

  10. the Anti-Materiel Rifle, though it’s extremely frustrating that the only worthwhile one is all the way across the Map through some of the most dangerous areas you can find.
