I once read an unfinished fic on Ao3 about Bella, and now I can't find it.

It had a beginning like this.

Bella is weak and timid, she was abandoned by the Cullens, her father supposedly died. She moves to Italy and accidentally meets Caius in a bar (or restaurant).

It is very important that the Volturi did not know about Bella, and Bella did not save Edward.

Bella was very scared of Caius, and he realized that she knew about vampires.

Since the law was broken, Caius returns Bella to Volterra on a plane to deal with the brothers about this.
