Hi all. I am absolutely going bonkers trying to find this book. I read it a couple of years ago.

It is similar to Unbreak Me by Reese Rivers (LOVE HER). In this other story, the abusive ex comes back and finds them. The little girl is going to a private school, "saviors" are very wealthy. The ex pretend to kidnap the girl, or maybe does, but he murders several people at the school. Mom dumps her phone and goes to him thinking he has the child. I think there maybe was a scene about a dinner party where a gunfight breaks out. ???

I am honestly beginning to wonder if I imagined this book. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
