I need piece of mind.I tried to enlist in the Army National Guard and made it all the way to MEPS, but I got flagged for anxiety and migraines. I submitted waivers and they were denied the same day.
Right after that, I contacted the Navy to see if I had a chance with them. My recruiter told me she’s seen someone with a similar situation (minus the migraines) get approved, so now I’m waiting to hear back but I’m nervous it’s going to end the same way.
The thing is, I don’t really have a history of migraines. I was hospitalized once for an allergic reaction (from Popeyes), and during that visit I mentioned a headache. I think that’s when they put “migraines” in my record, but I’ve never actually had a history of them.
