Pilot head unit or Android Auto issue

We purchased our 2025 Pilot TS just over one year ago and this is the 2nd time I've had this issue where my phone won't connect to Android Auto. I don't recall the steps leading up to the first instance, but I was leaving town due to a family emergency and I was desperate to have navigation so I did a factory reset of the head unit to get it to reconnect.

It happened again this weekend after my husband plugged his phone into charge via USB cable (it's important to note this is my primary driver and his phone isn't paired to the vehicle). I've done everything from clearing the Android Auto app cache, force stop, and checking for app updates. I've restarted the phone and the vehicle multiple times and cannot get it to connect. I've uninstalled the phone from the Pilot and then repaired them with no success

Any suggestions before I wipe the head unit again? Has anyone else had this issue?
