Seeking advice on finishing/painting craft cardboard over a structural base.
I’ve just finished this hummingbird using craft cardboard feathers over a structural internal frame. It’s my first physical sculpture and I’m stuck on the finishing phase. I’d love to add color, but I'm worried about moisture warping the cardboard. Has anyone used alcohol-based acrylics or specific sealants for this?
