Horizontal scorching

Let me start by saying I know very little about chainsaws short of watching YouTube for trouble shooting. I was able to pick up this Stihl ms250 for 80 bucks on marketplace the gal said it wasn’t running but for 60 bucks I said screw it worth the risk.

To my surprise it fired up no issues it was a bit of a tough start but Idled great. I was wondering if I should be worried about these horizontal scorch marks on the piston all I can find online is regarding vertical lines and pitting. Thanks

Best semi portable projector around 600

Right now both the Anker 4k laser and 4k laser se are on sale for 600 refurbished with a 2 year warranty. I am struggling to decide between the two or if there might be something better in that 600’dollar range. Half the reviews say the laser 4k is way better and the other half say the SE is. The lack of non sponsored reviews of these things is maddening and reviews as a whole are so so at best however they are rating them as a 1200-1500 rather than 600.

Please help!

I recently picked this up for free on Facebook marketplace and couldn’t be more stoked. It’s a 2012 Weber s-420 summit. There is little to zero rust on the inside of the box, all burners, flavorizers are in great shape. Only issues are cosmetic. I figure the stainless can be buffed and shined easy enough but I am looking for recommendations about what to do with the sides of the hood. It looks like it’s likely aluminum? Almost all the paint has chipped away and I would love to get this thing looking like new again.

Any recommendations appreciated!
