Hi there! Heading to Copenhagen on my own, first completely solo trip! Just looking for some general recommendations/guidelines/tips.
Any big tourist traps to avoid or just like completely not worth the price tag?
I'm not a huge foodie or have a massive appetite most of the time, where's good to grab some affordable, nice, no frills grub centrally or not too far off the beaten path?
Is it worth taking a few hours and going to discover what's across the water to Malmö in Sweden? I've never been so keen to cross that off the list of it's worth my while.
Finally, I've been told some spots accept Euro cash but there's a massive markup on cost if so. Am I better off just using Revolut or similar whilst over there? I have some cash from another trip and someone told me I might be lucky as some places accept but using card obvs for the most part.
ETA: I got last min flights and so trying to organise/navigate quite quickly/impulsively 😅 hence the slap dash post as opposed to doing extensive research. Thanks for your help! 😊
ETA 2: Interests are art, history, literature, music, visually pretty or quirky things to look at. I think I have the main tourist attractions covered but if there were anything else I could find interesting, it'd be good to see.
ETA 3: Have made a few edits as I clearly didn't do a great job at writing this post at speed on my lunch break 😅 legit person here! Haha
