Your opinion could help me change my life
Hello folks.
I come from a family without any strong financial support for an MBA, and l have a background and 3years workex in architecture and interior design which has been a relatively low-paying field. I felt I had to take a leap of faith, challenge myself through a competitive exam, and hopefully become the first person in my family to create a different path.
Right now, I have converted my best calls and I am confused between MDI (IB) and BITSoM. **Since I will be taking a full education loan,**this decision feels extremely important for my future and my family’s future as well.
MDI IB will cost me around 40–45 lakhs overall (excluding any internship stipend, since finding SIPs in Europe can be uncertain). The final placements, however, seem quite strong.
BITSoM will cost me around 32 lakhs, but since it is still a relatively new B-school, I am slightly unsure about long-term stability and placements.
For both colleges, SBI is offering a similar interest rate of around 6.9%. The short term ROI also matters a lot, as I feel I will have to support my family also after my MBA.
Based on loan repayment, career growth, and long-term opportunities, which option would you suggest I choose? Your guidance would genuinely mean a lot to me.
Thank you

TL;DR:
Architect/interior designer with 3 years work ex, no strong financial backing, choosing between MDI IB and BITSoM entirely on education loan (~6.9% SBI for both).
MDI IB: ~40–45L total cost, stronger established placements but Europe SIP uncertainty.
BITSoM: ~32L cost, newer school so slightly unsure about long-term stability and placements.
Since short-term ROI, loan repayment, family support, and long-term career growth all matter heavily, which would be the wiser choice?
