Suggest me a book.
What if there was a book that is similar to the journals in gravity falls for example, but all we know about that world is in the book unlike gravity falls, where you can watch the show. Or the book was written before other forms of content for that world.
Also there could be plot twists, like if the scientist/explorer/ect. wrote about a creature 5 pages in, there could be different information he found out later that reveals some stuff pages later.
And I imagine it as a "show don't tell" kinda book. It doesn't say "this is more dangerous than you think. It killed my friend", for example. It talks about sharp teeth and there's blood on the page. And whatever research that friend used to do about creatures just stops.
Of course there won't be anything that is EXACTLY how I imagining it, if there's anything like this at all. I never seen this writing style for a novel(?) so I don't know. Please tell me if you have suggestions.
