Hey everyone, I’ll be solo travelling in Saigon soon and one of my main goals for the trip is to improve my Vietnamese and connect more with the culture.

My mum is Vietnamese, but I grew up in Australia, so while I can speak some Vietnamese, I really want to become more confident using it in everyday conversations.

I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for places, activities, or communities where it’s easier to meet locals and make new friends? I’m open to pretty much anything — cafés, language exchanges, gyms, social clubs, nightlife, events, etc.
