For a 5–10 year investment window, are ETFs worth it vs mutual funds given the fee gap? ETF TERs (total yearly expenses) are below 1.5%, while mutual funds can go up to 4% - that's a big difference even over 5–10 years.

Also curious: Can actively managed funds like Al Ameen Stock Fund consistently beat passive ETFs like Mahana ETF enough to justify the 2–3% higher fees?
