I started having this pain a little bit after finishing a dose of levaquin for a kidney infection. It started about 2 weeks ago and went away after a couple of days but has now returned 3 days ago with a vengeance. I have not been able to lay down on my back or sides or even my stomach so I have been sleeping sitting up against my headboard. I went to the hospital in fear that it was pneumonia or blood clot because I’m also feeling the same pain in my chest directly in front of the pain in my back. The hospital did some X-rays and ruled out pneumonia but didn’t want to order testing for blood clots even after telling them my concerns. They said it had to be muscular and told me to take baclofen and go to sleep!! I felt very dismissed. Has any one else felt this before? Or dealt with this? Right side back/chest pain.
