For the first time in 10 seasons, I decided to play Ranked Cashout, and I ran into this situation: during the player loading screen for the first round, one of my teammates never loaded in, so we were left playing as a duo.
We tried our best, of course, but we still lost.
So my question is: Embark, what the hell? Why were we down a player, and why did I still lose points at the end of the match?
As far as I remember, in Overwatch, if one of your teammates disconnects, you get a warning saying something like: “You can leave the match and you won’t lose points for the loss.”
This is so obvious. Why not implement something like this in The Finals?
upd. Oh! I only just noticed this line: “Missing teammate compensation: +336 RS.”
How generous! I didn’t lose 815 points - only 479.
