Long story short, my lift account was hacked and a stolen credit card was put on it and people have been taking lyfts with my information and a stolen credit card. I contacted lyft and they refused to do anything. This went on and I continued to call them requesting the account be deleted because its not my credit card. Lyft finally put a suspension on my account after 2 long weeks of hassling them while my entire identity was stolen, they sent me an email saying we believe your email was compromised, please update the password so we can reinstate your lyft account. I 1) asked them to never contact this email as it had been compromised, gave them my new email and told them it was mandatory they contact me via the new email which they didnt and 2) I have also been requesting info on how to delete a lyft account for 2 weeks and finally just got sent the link. I feel as though I am owed compensation in this long fought out battle with lyft. They could have sent me that link on day 1 of the identity theft but chose to wait 2 full weeks of me complaining to finally share it. I deserve pay for my time, am I wrong?
