I am not a fan of TMC or BJP. I was condemning the actions of vandalism that was happening.
But what happened today is unforgivable. To take a man’s life? Seriously. This is how low Bengal has stooped?
Bengal is somewhere I was born, it’s the most beautiful state. And these people are just staining it.
I hope the culprit is caught, and justice is done.

I live near Ripon Street in Kolkata, and right now the situation here feels genuinely scary.

There are thousands of people on the streets supporters from both BJP and TMC and it’s not just political anymore. It feels like a full-blown standoff. Loud shouting, aggression, tension in the air… you can sense how quickly things could go out of control.

What frustrates me the most is this: regular people like us are the ones who end up suffering. We’re just trying to live our lives, go to work, keep our families safe but suddenly we’re stuck inside our homes, worried about violence breaking out any second.

I don’t care which party is right or wrong anymore. When politics reaches a point where people fear for their lives in their own neighborhoods, something is deeply broken.

Is anyone else from central Kolkata experiencing this right now? How are you dealing with it?

Idc who wins the elections, i still have to give 33% tax, and other tax, and gst. And wait for 1 years and 9 months to get my refund. Hell hole, correctly called out by trump. Not india. But our finance ministry.
